Since The Belt and Road Initiative was proposed, Africa has always been one of the important directions of The Belt and Road Initiative. Especially East Africa, according to the African Development Bank’s (AfDB) East Africa Regional Economic Outlook 2023, East Africa's economic growth is expected to rise from 4.4% in 2022 to 5.1% in 2023, which regains its position as the continent's top growth performer.As a multinational diversified enterprise group, Globelink China Logistics Limited has taken root in the African market in recent years. At present, it has established two chemical analysis laboratories, processing centers and production and operation bases of the highest standards in West Africa in Plateau State and Kwara State of Nigeria, and obtained a number of self-operated mineral exploration rights. After just 5 years, Globelink China Logistics Limited has achieved sustained and stable development in West Africa. In the next stage, the Group plans to expand its business and investment in East Africa and establish a multi-center collaborative layout. During the National Holiday, Solomon Cai, president of Newbase Supply Chain Management (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. and Globelink China Logistics Limited, led a delegation to Africa and opened an one-week East African market investigation and connection negotiation without stopping to establish in-depth business cooperation.

 

The delegation arrived at the headquarters of the Revolutionary Party in Dar es Salaam and, with the strong support of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the United Republic of Tanzania, visited Ambassador Chen Mingjian of China in Tanzania, General Secretary of the Revolutionary Party of Tanzania Daniel Chongolo and their working team.

 

During the visit, General Secretary Jongoro warmly welcomed the arrival of the delegation and hoped that Globelink China Logistics will invest in Tanzania to promote economic development and further enhance the exchanges and cooperation between the two countries. At the meeting, the two sides discussed potential cooperation and investment opportunities in the four major areas of mineral resources development, commercial real estate, solar vehicles and coconut product processing and manufacturing. Solomon Cai said that Globelink China Logistics has been committed to the development of the global supply chain, providing solutions and best practices for the global cycle of goods, services, capital and technology. We will also look for long-term investment opportunities in Tanzania to promote local economic and social development.

 

The delegation of Globelink China Logistics went to Zimbabwe, visited the local miners' Federation, and discussed with Ms. Henrietta Rushwaya, President of Zimbabwe Miners' Federation (ZMF), on the long-term cooperation of international mining and solar new energy vehicle projects. Both sides hoped to deepen exchanges and cooperation so as to better promote the development of international trade between China and Africa.

 

The delegation of Globelink China Logistics visited the Mozambican market and exchanged views with Pedro, a member of the ruling party of Mozambique and the founding family of the country's founding father, on the construction of local mining-related infrastructure and the overall investment environment, and Globelink China Logistics was invited to participate in the family's gold mining projects.

 

At the same time, Globelink China Logistics also visited Mozambique Airlines (LAM), in-depth understanding of the company's operation, air passenger and cargo transport, and jointly discuss the way of future development and cooperation.

 

The delegation of Globelink China Logistics visited Angola and discussed with the team of the National Airline of Angola (TAAG for short), which laid a good foundation for the subsequent smooth cooperation.

 

In addition, the delegation of Globelink China Logistics visited the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Angola and was warmly received by Amateu Nunes, Director of the Office of the Secretary of State, and had a positive and warm interaction with the delegation.

 

At the same time, Globelink China Logistics also visited Angolan Agil-Huangji Electric Co., LTD. Huang Yugen, chairman of the company, introduced the company's development history, management philosophy, corporate social responsibility and development vision in detail. It is known that the motorcycles sold by the company are all kinds of sales shops, market stalls, motorcycle drivers, motorcycle repair shops and so on in Angola.

 

The Belt and Road Initiative inspection trip to Africa is the embodiment of Globelink China Logistics' adherence to the "going out" strategy, and it is also another practical exploration in positive response to the national The Belt and Road Initiative strategy. Various measures mark the further breakthrough of Globelink China Logistics in the development of the East African market.
